The Gospel of Luke | When Faith Is Hard – Luke 7:18-23

News of Jesus’ ministry gets back to John the Baptist in prison. Instead of strengthening his faith, it causes him to doubt if Jesus is the promised one for whom God’s people are waiting. John the Baptist reflects many of us. Faith can feel challenging when the burdens of life weigh heavy and when our expectations of how God should operate are unmet.
