The Gospel of Luke | Say the Word – Luke 7:1-10

Pastor Steve Heron continues our Luke series, Jesus: The Savior of the World, and preaches from Luke 7:1-10.

Luke places the story of the centurion and his servant immediately after Jesus’s instruction to his disciples. This story of remarkable faith gives us a pattern for how our own life is to be lived. Absent the visible presence of Jesus, this man believes that the authority and power of Jesus pertain to the struggle he’s experiencing and thus displays faith that amazes even Jesus.
