The Gospel of Luke | The Complete Savior – Luke 7:11-17

Jonathan Suggs, one of our Pastoral Residents, continues our Luke series, Jesus: The Savior of the World, and preaches from Luke 7:11-17.

As Jesus’ popularity is exploding, He travels south to a small town. There, He encounters and enters into the heart-wrenching pain of a woman who has lost everything. Luke gives us a glimpse into the heart of our Lord towards people with problems too big for them to handle and sorrows too deep for them to bear. In this interaction, Jesus reveals more of His identity forcing us to examine Him who always seems to be more than we perceive Him to be.
