The Gospel of Luke | The Golden Rule – Luke 6:27-38

This Sunday, Pastor Steve Heron continues our Luke series, Jesus: The Savior of the World, and preaches from Luke 6:27-38.

In this passage, we’ll see how Jesus continues to train and prepare his disciples for their experience in the world as they follow him. He moves from the consequences of a life lived for Jesus to the character that every disciple is called to. Jesus shows us that spiritual formation is really about becoming more like our heavenly Father – even when we are persecuted, misunderstood, and when people take advantage of us. It’s that crucible where our faith becomes real.
