First Thessalonians | Ready or Not – 1 Thessalonians 5:1-11

Nobody knows the day when Jesus will return. Paul doesn’t try to tell the Thessalonians when. He reminds them of what they already know: the day will come suddenly, like a thief in the night, on a world that thinks it’s safe. But Christ died so that we might live with him. That means we don’t wait in fear or fall asleep. We wait awake, sober, armored up, and together. We don’t know the hour, but we know the assignment.
