The Gospel of Luke | The Good Samaritan – Luke 10:25-37
As we continue our series, The Gospel of Luke, Pastor Steve Heron preaches from Luke 10:25-37.
In one of Jesus’ most memorable parables, Jesus confronts the desire of everyone to justify ourselves by what we do. Exposing the lie that we can find confidence in our good deeds, Jesus shares the story of an outsider who takes the plight of the broken and helpless on himself. This parable reveals how we see ourselves, our understanding of obedience, and the good news that we could never earn what Jesus freely gives.
