The Gospel of Luke | Small but Sure – Luke 13:18-21

Jesus follows up his rebuke of the hypocrites in the synagogue with two parables to show us what the Kingdom of God is really like. While we know the synagogue ruler’s assessment of life is wrong, it’s hard to figure out why. In two parables,  Jesus shows us that the Kingdom of God is both strong and sure. Yet there’s a secret side to Jesus’ work that is hidden from those who refuse to accept His person. Jesus challenges how we view the simple, yet certain Kingdom work that is revealed in His ministry.
