Song of Solomon | The Honeymoon – Song of Solomon 4:1-5:1

The wedding night has come, and it’s filled with delight, fragrance, and most of all romance. Song of Solomon has been anticipating this night, and God gives us an inside look at the intimacy of this couple. While the honeymoon is certainly foremost in the minds of any couple entering into marriage, we also see that marital intimacy is built on a foundation of character. You can’t build a marriage on sex. Rather, sexual fulfillment is an expression of a couple’s commitment and servant-hearted love for one another.
