The Gospel of Luke | Can You See the Light? – Luke 11:29-36

While the crowds are increasing, Jesus takes an opportunity to confront the evil of demanding a sign from God. Using several Old Testament stories of repentance, Jesus shows us that repentance responds to the truth, rather than demanding proof of the message. Pivoting to make his point in a different way, Jesus says it’s the way we see the truth that illumines our lives and allows us to respond appropriately to his preaching.
