Palm Sunday | Recognition of the King – Matthew 21:1-11

This Sunday is Palm Sunday, and Pastor Steve Heron will preach from Matthew 21:1-11.

Jesus draws near Jerusalem, beginning the final week of his life. Surprisingly, he enters the city amidst the shouts and rejoicing of the crowds on a donkey. What does this picture tell us about Jesus? Why do the cries of “Hosanna” turn so quickly to “Crucify Him!”? As we enter Holy Week, we will consider what truths Palm Sunday holds for us as we recognize and rejoice that our King has come.
