Easter | The Resurrection of the King – Matthew 28:1-15

At the empty tomb, we hear the message that will create the church, that will invite sinners into a relationship with God, and cause the hearts of all who believe to rejoice. Matthew shows us two women who encounter the empty tomb and whose message invites others into faith in what Christ has done. We also see the chief priests create their own version of these events, pressing us to consider what message we are willing to stake our life upon.
