This class is for anyone looking to discern if they are ready to be baptized. It is designed for children 10 and up, but anyone is welcome to participate.
During the class, we will discuss the topics below, and then there will be time for questions.
- What does it mean to follow Christ?
- What do I need to know about baptism?
- Is baptism the right next step for me?
For those ready to move forward:
(17 and under) – Complete the Parents/Kids Baptism Form, where the child will write out their testimony, and the parents will share why they believe the child is ready. Then a pastor will meet with the child.
(18+) – Complete the Baptism Form, and a pastor will follow up with you.
Please note: We recommend that children wait until age 10-12 to be baptized, as that range represents a clear demarcation of when children are moving into the next phase of emerging adulthood and establishing their identity. If a child is younger than 10, we will evaluate the situation on a case-by-case basis.
