AJ leads our staff team and oversees the implementation of our church’s mission and vision. He is a graduate of Charleston Southern University (BA) and Liberty University (MA, MDiv). He is married to Allison and they have three daughters. AJ enjoys competition of all sorts, from family game night to coaching his daughters in basketball to setting personal records in his garage gym.
Steve oversees groups, global missions, and care. He is a graduate of Valdosta State University (BA) and Southeastern Seminary (MA). He is married to Marie and they have two adult sons and three grandchildren. Steve loves traveling with Marie and enjoys backyard games like cornhole, bocce ball and ladder golf.
Jon oversees our church’s operations in addition to helping care for parents and families. He is a graduate of Western Kentucky University (BA) and Southeastern Seminary (MA). He is married to Meredyth and they have three children. Jon enjoys hiking, listening to audiobooks, and making pizza with his family.
Jared leads our Worship Team. He is a graduate of East Central University (BA) and Southeastern Seminary (MDiv). He is married to Reagan and they have three boys. Jared loves drinking coffee with Reagan, playing golf with his boys, and following the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Jonathan leads our Young Adult and College Ministry Team. He is a graduate of Anderson University (BS) and Southeastern Seminary (MDiv). He is married to Hannah and they have two boys. Jonathan enjoys basketball, football, reading, and hanging out with his family and golden retriever!
Ben leads our Student Ministry Team (6th-12th Grade). He is a graduate of Clemson University (BS, MS) and Southeastern Seminary (MDiv). He is married to Lisie and they have one child. Ben enjoys playing golf, duck hunting, and all things Clemson.
Brandon serves our local mission effort in partnership with his role as a staff member of Cru City. He is a graduate of the College of Charleston (BA). He is married to Ansley and they have two children. He and his wife grew up on dirt roads and have lived in the middle of Brooklyn and love both environments. Brandon loves country music, watching his kids’ theatre productions, and working on his orange Ford Bronco.
Jess leads our Kids Ministry Team (Birth-5th Grade). She is a graduate of Clemson University (BS) and Bank Street College of Education (MS in Child Life). She is married to Drew and they have one child. On a nice day, you can find Jess at the beach with a good book.
Kenny leads our Production Team, overseeing all of our audio and video production. He is a graduate of Liberty University (BS). He is married to Becca and they have two children. He enjoys movies, music, and learning about new things in the tech world.
Meredyth serves part-time leading our Women’s Ministry. She is a graduate of Clemson University (BA). She is married to Jon and they have three children. Meredyth enjoys cheering on the Clemson Tigers and curling up with a good book.
Austin serves part-time helping get people connected at Citadel Square. She is a graduate of the University of South Carolina (BA). She is married to Stevie, and they have three children. Austin enjoys cooking, hosting friends and family, and cheering on her kids at their games.
Emma serves part-time on our Student Ministry team. She is a graduate of the University of Arkansas (BA) and enjoys long beach days, slow mornings, and laughing out loud—preferably with a cup of coffee.
Annalisa serves part-time on our Worship Team. She is a graduate of Charleston Southern University (BA) and enjoys classical music, traveling, and all things outdoors.
Dean serves part-time as our Financial Administrator. He is married to Ladora and they have two adult sons and several grandchildren.
Olivia serves as a Resident, helping with Young Adults and Production. She is a graduate of Liberty University (BA). She is married to Collin and enjoys discovering new coffee shops, seeing movies at the theater, and knitting.
Collin serves as a Resident, helping with Young Adults and Operations. He is a graduate of Washington and Lee University (BA), Truett Seminary (MDiv) and is working on his PhD at Wheaton College. He is married to Amy and he loves to fish, lift weights, and read theology.
Wyche serves as a Resident, helping with Students and Operations. He’s a graduate of the University of South Carolina (BA) and is pursuing a degree from Southern Seminary. He is married to Emily and they have one child. He enjoys alpine activities like climbing, mountain biking, and snowboarding. In Charleston, he settles for reading and biking.
