Philippians | A Vote of No Confidence – Philippians 3:1-11

Pastor Steve Heron preaches from Philippians 3:1-11.

Paul continues to exhort the Philippian church to rejoice, but introduces a threat to joy that is rather unexpected. We all place our confidence in something; something makes up the foundation of our lives, and something becomes our security. In Paul’s words, it’s our righteousness. Looking back on his own story, Paul says that he counts everything as worthless compared to the surpassing worth of knowing Christ.
